Saddleback Memorial Foundation has named Professional Community Management
(PCM) as the 2003 “Organization of the Year.” The honor will
be presented to company co-CEOs Jeff Olson and Russ Disbro at Saddleback
Memorial Foundation’s fifth annual Spirit of Philanthropy gala on Thursday,
November 6 at the Marconi Automotive Museum (1302 Industrial Drive) in Tustin.
The Lake Forest-based company has earned a sterling reputation as a leader
in the management of family-oriented and active senior communities such as
Leisure World since its inception in 1972.
“Professional Community Management has a long history of partnering with Saddleback Memorial, and its founders were instrumental in establishing our hospital nearly three decades ago,” remarked Nolan Draney, president of the Saddleback Memorial Foundation, the fundraising arm of the hospital. “We are honored to acknowledge PCM’s contributions to our community.”
Olson was among the first directors on Saddleback Community Hospital’s Board of Directors, and Disbro served on the hospital board for nearly 10 years as well as served on the Foundation’s board. Currently, Disbro serves on the Board of Directors of The Associates, which is fundraising support group of the hospital.
Under the leadership of Olsen and Disbro, who together possess more than 50 years of community management experience, PCM has been recognized by the Multi Housing Council as one of the country’s largest managers of common interest developments. The company boasts a portfolio of over 72,000 units in 170 community associations, representing a combined real estate value in excess of $14 billion. Staffed by more than 1,400 management, technical and real estate professionals, PCM has set the standard for the industry, developing programs and systems to increase service and efficiency for its clients, promoting the highest ethical standards and utilizing the most technologically advanced methods available.
