PCM Promotes Donny Disbro to Vice President
Marketing and Business Development
LAKE FOREST, Calif., May 24, 2004 — Professional Community Management (PCM), one of the nation’s largest managers of common interest developments (CIDs), announced today the promotion of Donny Disbro to vice president of marketing and business development.
“As PCM moves forward with its expansion in the Inland Empire, Orange County and San Diego markets, its reliance on proven professionals will become more critical,” said Jeff Olsen, CEO, PCM. “Donny Disbro has been a part of a team of experienced managers that has been intimately involved in PCM’s long range planning, preparing for the explosion in housing demand that we are experiencing today.”
Disbro joined the PCM staff in early 1997 as a community manager. In managing a portfolio of six community associations, he worked directly with corporate management and association boards of directors in coordinating and planning multi-million dollar budgets, conducting meetings, obtaining maintenance proposals, assisting with customer service, overseeing vendor quality control, and helping to ensure civil and corporate compliance.
His experience in working with association boards, residents, and vendors provided a strong background for his promotion in 1999 to the position of marketing manager of PCM’s Internet Services Division. Disbro demonstrated his ability to successfully grow this division of PCM by bringing management services on-line, enhancing customer service quality while increasing business communication to clients and vendors within the community association industry.
As vice president of marketing and business development for the firm, Disbro will represent PCM by targeting services to land owners, equity partners, builders and developers, and cities throughout Southern Calif... He executes brand positioning strategies and ad strategies, working with PCM’s marketing committee and contracted advertising agency. In addition, Disbro is a member of the board of directors for the BIA (Building Industry Association) SHC and serves on many committees for the BIA such as the Construction Quality Committee.
Disbro is an active member of the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) and the national Community Associations Institute (CAI). He has also served for the last two years on the Programs Committee of the Orange County Regional Chapter of CAI. In 2004, Disbro joined CAI’s Mediation Committee and HomeAid Orange County’s Project Playhouse Committee.
A resident of Dana Point, Disbro, now 31 years old, received his MBA from Chapman University, Orange, California, in May of 2003. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance from Chapman University where he served as team captain for two years on the University’s NCAA baseball team.
