PCM Appoints Rene’ Decker to Vice President

LAKE FOREST, Calif., June 14, 2004 — Professional Community Management (PCM), one of the nation’s largest managers of common interest developments (CIDs), announced today the appointment of Rene’ Decker to vice president Lake Forest management services.

“Rene’ Decker was the natural choice to fill this position. As vice president Lake Forest Management Services, Decker heads a department providing management and customer service to greater than 100 communities throughout Southern Calif. His core responsibilities also include marketing PCM services to potential clients. Decker joined PCM’s management team in 1989. His previous experiences include service as a community manager. Throughout his tenure with PCM, Decker has demonstrated his ability to work closely with homeowner and developer boards of directors to provide guidance in all aspects of community management.

Decker, a member of the board of directors of CACM since 1996, currently serves as the vice-chair of the Legal Steering Committee and as a member of the Ambassador Committee. He also provides ongoing training throughout the industry for managers, board members and vendors. Decker holds the distinguished credential of Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM), conferred by the California Association of Community Managers (CACM). Decker is an active member of the Community Associations Institute.

Decker (age 35) is a resident of Aliso Viejo and a graduate of California State University at Fullerton where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications. His volunteer efforts are focused on promoting professionalism and increasing education for the community management industry.
