PCM’s Michelle Thomson Honored With CACM Vision Award
for Leadership in Physical Property Management

LAKE FOREST, Calif., July 6, 2004 — Professional Community Management (PCM), one of the nation’s largest companies providing community management services to homeowner associations (HOAs), announced today that senior manager Michelle Thomson has been honored by California Association of Community Managers Inc. (CACM) with a prestigious Vision Award for her leadership in physical property management. Thomson received the Leadership Award – Physical Management, Level I after being nominated for efforts that resulted in significantly increased real estate values for the Yorktown Villas association located in Huntington Beach, Calif.

“Thomson took a community that had not increased assessments for ten years, with 25 years of deferred maintenance and developed a five-year recovery strategy,” said Russ Disbro, CEO, PCM. “She worked with the board and owners in the association to obtain a loan for repairs and negotiated discounts with contractors. Through her caring and insightful guidance these homeowners will benefit from their real estate investment instead of facing deterioration and declining values.”
