Professional Community Management of California, Inc.
employees raise money for United Way
Contribution from PCM employees exceeds $50,000
LAKE FOREST, Calif. (Nov. 14, 2006) – Professional Community Management of California, Inc., one of the nation's largest managers of homeowner associations, raised more than $50,000 from its employees for United Way.
The week-long, annual campaign involved luncheons, silent auctions, prize drawings and guest speakers from United Way, all in effort to raise money for the organization. PCM's employees were also able to pledge cash amounts or utilize payroll withholding, where a requested amount from each paycheck was donated to the United Way fund.
"PCM has always been a company that believes in giving back to the communities that it serves," said Russell Disbro, chief executive officer of PCM. "We educate our employees in ways that they can contribute and how that effort can impact people's lives."
The annual campaign, which took place the last week of October, was led by Rita Brantley at PCM's corporate office in Lake Forest, Pat Haynes at PCM's Laguna Woods Properties office and JoEllen Madden at the company's Laguna Woods Village office.
"We have a long history with United Way and we encourage our employees to get involved in any way that they can," Disbro said.
