Professional Community Management of California, Inc.
launches toy drive

Talega Gallery Community Association partners with
Friends of San Onofre Marines

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. (Nov. 20, 2006) – Talega Gallery Community Association, a luxury active adult community managed by Professional Community Management of California, Inc. (PCM) partnered with Friends of San Onofre Marines to donate Christmas toys to children to support the military families at Camp Pendleton.

Talega Gallery Community Association is collecting new unwrapped toys for children under the age of 10 and gift cards to stores such as Wal-Mart or Target for children that are older.

"PCM and residents of Talega Gallery have provided tremendous support for our troops. Everyone has been very gracious," said Tim Peckham, general manager of PCM for Talega Gallery Community Association. "Regardless of the politics, we support our troops and want to reduce their stress from being overseas in any way that we can, whether it is food, clothing or toys for family members."

The annual toy drive is one of the ways that the association is supporting the troops this holiday season. Talega Gallery has also adopted the Marine HQ Company Regimental Combat Team 5 in Fallujah, Iraq and has been sending them gifts from their wish list since September. So far more than 1400 lbs and more than $12,000 of wish list items have been mailed. The association's goal is to lift the troops' spirits and to let them know that they are supported this time of year.

"All of the generosity has allowed me to walk around and show the Marines just how much the American people are behind them," said Commanding Officer Captain Jason Freeby.

Talega Gallery Community Association will be collecting donations until Dec. 12. If you are interested in donating a gift please contact Tim Peckham at (949) 361-4685.
