Professional Community Management of California, Inc.
hires recruiter coordinator

LAKE FOREST, Calif. (April 16, 2007)—Professional Community Management of California, Inc. welcomes Cynthia Chavez as recruiter coordinator. The addition of Chavez will allow the company to build its management team and expand the recreational lifestyle component in the communities it manages.

In this capacity, Chavez will recruit, evaluate and train new employees, as well as develop and implement company policy, assist the human resource department in unifying the regional offices and strengthen PCM's family-style atmosphere.

"My goal as recruiter coordinator is not just to attract qualified individuals to the company, but to help people grow in their profession and inform them of the training and opportunities that PCM provides," said Chavez.

PCM's open-door policy and peer mentor program helps new employees with the transition process by creating a safe environment that allows them to learn and ask questions about the company culture and the customers it serves. PCM also encourages its employees that want to grow within the company to explore new positions that are available and are a match with the person's personality.

"PCM offers a wide range of services to our clients, which results in customer service positions that are unique to the property management industry," said Donny Disbro, vice president of PCM. "We are more hospitality oriented than most competitors in homeowner association management and don't just recruit, hire and train property managers and accountants."

For instance, PCM has food and beverage managers, maintenance coordinators and a year-round recreational community planning division comprised of Life Style Event Directors, who can help developers and builders service new homebuyers and promote the lifestyle component of living in their community.

As a hospitality and customer-service-based company, PCM does more than the average company to ensure that it hires a proficient staff that complements each position and location. PCM is fortunate to have Chavez who understands hospitality with spending her previous employment years at Hilton Hotels. As part of the recruiting process, Chavez will spend time working in most of the positions at the company to get a better understanding of the character and job requirements.

"Because customer service plays such an important role in every position, we are more personality driven in our hiring process. Whether a person is servicing a resident, HOA, vendor or fellow employee, they need to have exceptional client service skills and know how to best deliver the company's or customer's message," said Chavez.

A graduate of the University of San Diego, Chavez will be working out of PCM's corporate office, located in Orange County. PCM has five regional offices: PCM Orange County, PCM San Diego North County, PCM San Diego Metropolitan and PCM Inland Empire.
